Seeking (2) Temporary Administrative clerks for a short term project that could last 2-3 weeks. Schedule is Monday- Friday, 9am – 5pm. Responsibilities include transferring date from paper formats or computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners, verifying data by comparing it to source documents, retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, perform regular backups to ensure data preservation, and sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost. Must have experience as a data entry clerk or a similar position. Must have good typing skills. Must have a basic understanding of databases.  Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred. Must be skilled in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, internet search engines, and sites. Must have excellent organizational, written, communications, and customer service skills. Must be outcome oriented in a fast paced environment with deadlines. Must take initiative and pride in the execution of job responsibilities. Must have HS diploma or equivalent although college or business school preferred.
