Clinical programs

PCMH offers the full range of clinic services to both children and adults. Experienced social workers and psychologists serve as therapists and clinical supervisors, providing treatment in multiple models of care. Therapy is offered from a psychodynamic, family, cognitive, behavioral or medical model of care, based on the specific needs of the client. Specialized services include group therapy, play therapy for children, couples and family therapy, psychological testing, and medication consultation and management. The Eastside clinic also offers specialized expertise through its dedicated units, serving performing and creative artists, gay and lesbian individuals, clients with addiction recovery issues, children and adolescents. The Westside clinic offers individual, couple, and group therapy, medication management, and case management for consumers with serious mental illness.

Residential services

PCMH operates a residential continuum of care comprised of four community residences as well as congregate and scattered site supported housing. A major developer of housing for persons with mental illness, PCMH owns four apartment buildings in the city and is expanding its commitment to reduce homelessness among New York City's most vulnerable citizens.
