TITLE: MICA PROGRAM COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: RESIDENTIAL DIVISION
REPORTS TO: PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Program Director in all aspects of residential operations as needed. Provides on-site substance
abuse treatment to residents requiring such services. Ensures site remains in compliance with all
regulatory agency requirements, as well as PCMH policies and procedures. Maintains a professional environment to enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
intakes for potential new admissions.
new admissions and complete intake admission documents.
assistance to clients around all residential counselor activities as
the residents in planning recreational and social activities.
individual and group substance abuse treatment on a daily basis.
substance abuse treatment information and referrals to clients and staff.
as the liaison to community based agencies and other providers for
clients’ substance abuse issues.
and participate in case conferences.
case record reviews as a part of internal utilization review and
in the hiring process.
in scheduling to ensure appropriate 24-hour coverage of the
ongoing supervision of staff as needed.
ongoing training and development to staff.
maintenance staff to ensure the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the
building evacuations to ensure resident and staff safety in emergencies.
crisis intervention and follow-up on incidents; conduct investigations
in special projects as assigned by senior management.
oral and written communication skills
problem solving and analytical skills.
to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees,
clients and community contacts.
literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and publishing
Masters Degree in Human Services required with at least 5 years experience
in mental health or substance abuse. At least 2 years supervisory
experience managing treatment programs for severely mentally ill adults,
substance abusers and/or forensic programs.
